Serengeti migration 8 day safari: Go on Serengeti migration 8 day safari in ndutu areas and see the sea of grass dotted by islands of kopjes and acacias of all types. This Serengeti migration 8 day safari will take you to southern Serengeti where you will spend the days on the short green grass rich to feed the migrants. Depending on the season of travel, in late January through February for instance, the migrants will be delivering babies (calving seasons) and the tours on these months are of impressive. You will need to be a bit rude to overcome the compassion feelings on the innocent killers preying on the newborns.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania.
You will be met at Kilimanjaro airport by our driver guide who will escort you to the private waiting vehicle and transfer you to Arusha for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Arusha national park. Serengeti migration 8 day safari .
After breakfast, start your tour at 80.00 am to Arusha National Park for a full day Safari. You will be able to get out of the vehicle, be accompanied by armed ranger to walk around and view the beautiful Ngurdoto Crater rim to the waterfalls. Lunch en route inside the park then continue with day game drive. The park boasts the Ngurdoto Crater, the Momella Lakes, Serengeti Ndogo (Little Serengeti) and the gorgeous Mt Meru. Animal sightings include herds of Zebra, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, hyenas, dik-dik, mongooses, warthogs, baboons and monkeys, also Flamingo’s and a variety of other bird species. The Arusha National park is also the only park where you can be able to view the long haired Colobus Monkey. There are no lions or rhinos due to poaching but you may see the occasional leopard.
Late in the evening as the sun goes down drive back to Arusha for overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast depart for Tarangire national park for game drives in the Park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the prey’s alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing. Lunch will be served in the picnic site while enjoying the best views of Tarangire River.

Day 4: Southern Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast depart to southern Serengeti via Ngorongoro Crater highlands with a stopover at Crater rim view point for pictures then proceed to drive to southern Serengeti for afternoon games drive in Serengeti National Park. Picnic lunch will be served on the way while enjoying the views of the open plains as you enter the southern part of the Serengeti, after lunch you will continue with late afternoon animal viewing until sunset.

Day 5: Full day in southern Serengeti National Park.
Full day animal sightings in southern Serengeti. This will be a picture day where you will leave the lodge after an early breakfast and start animal sightings until sunset. This day will be spent seeing wildebeest calving around the open plains in the southern parts of Serengeti national park. You will take lunch boxes with you so you will have enough time for exploring. At sunset drive to the lodge for overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro.
Early morning games drive in southern Serengeti, after lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight via Masai Villages in Ngorongoro (Maasai Boma at extra cost).
Overnight: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
Meals: Full Board. Serengeti migration 8 day safari.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater.
Early morning after breakfast drive 20 minutes into 600 meter deep Ngorongoro crater for full day animal viewing inside the crater, lunch will be served in Ngoitoktok hippo swamp looking at hippopotamus while enjoying your lunch. This is the unbroken Caldera where animals are residents and only few animals move out and in the Caldera so the observation is easy. There is the lake where you will see Flamingoes and other water birds, the forest where you will see elephants and Leopard can be seen here. Ngorongoro crater is the only place in Tanzania where you can see the rare and few remaining Black Rhinoceros. The full day will be spent inside the crater floor exploring at your own pace. Late in the evening drive out of the crater and drive to the lodge.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park- Arusha – Departure
After breakfast drive 40 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park with lunch boxes for half day games drive. Lake Manyara is small in size offering good time to see Great Rift Valley wall and the evergreen forest where you can see different species of birds. You will visit Hot springs inside Lake Manyara national park and have a chance to walk out of the vehicle of a wood bridge toward the lake where you will see flamingoes and other water birds. Late in the afternoon drive to Arusha.
The tour will end at the airport on time for your flight back home. You can add one more night in Arusha after safari for extra cost.
